Here we have a beautiful and interesting William Pate style etching print, this definitely dates back to the 1860s as it has the standard "dotted" style of etchings of the time, and the paper is very obviously original, as shown in photos. At some point this print was professionally mounted onto a backing and placed into a frame.
The artwork itself measures 20"×16".
The etching is in fantastic condition, but the frame is not. If interested in just the etching and not the frame I can adjust shipping costs accordingly as the frame is quite heavy. The glass has detached from the frame which would make it tricky to ship, but if requested I can ship it in the frame.
This is an absolutely stunning work of art that would look fantastic in any collection!
