This is a beautifully ornate French Ormolu Rococo Style Cherub Perfume Atomizer, Once the top is removed the glass bottle which once held the perfume can be seen. Missing is the original atomizer which makes a need for a replacement.
The look of this piece speaks to an era when ornate was a key word in workmanship. The two cherubs sit on ornate benches and the perfume bottle holder is fancily filigree and floral.
This piece is heavy and is believed to be 24 K plated.
