Royal Doulton "Hostess From Williamsburg" Vintage Bone China Collectible Statue

This is a stunning Royal Doulton “Hostess From Williamsburg” vintage statue bone china figurine. It was first introduced in 1960 and retired in 1983. Item number is HN 2209. It was designed by Peggy Davies. This piece was named in honor of King Williams III. This beautiful piece captures the manners and ways the women were in the 1800's. The woman's face is magnificent, with the rosy cheeks and red lips. Her hair is light brown, curly and is in a pinned-up style. The woman is wearing her finest pink with green accents long colonial dress that has accents of green, white ruffles in the top front and she is holding one side of the dress as if she's doing a curtsy. The quarter sleeves have white lace ruffles at the end. She has a white accordion fan on her right hand. She measures 7.25 inches high. There are no chips or damages on the figurine.
