This card game was introduced in 1927 by Nucraft Toys, Paul Guillow of Wakefield, Mass. It celebrates the famous Charles Lindbergh transatlantic flight from New York to Paris. In researching the game, I found that there is no pre use bro about the number of cards in the deck. one source says it should have at least 15 hazard cards, 10 weather cards, 10 take off cards, 1 Lucky Lindy card, and at least 39 mileage cards. This set contains all of those in addition to 1 extra weather card and 5 extra mileage cards.
The cards are in good used condition for their age . They are almost 100 years old. They show use in some slight stains and and creases that are more felt than seen.
The directions included here are not for this Lindy game. Apparently Parker Brothers came out with a similar game called Lindy the New Flying Game and that is what these directions are for. The 2 companies were engaged in a lawsuit pertaining to their games and Parker Bros won. Nucraft produced this game for only 1
