HAKATA dolls/figurines have a history dating back to the 1600's in Japan, Hakata City, Japan. Made of clay...purposefully unglazed. This warrior is in great condition considering his age. He has a bit of wear on the paint on his hat. No chips, cracks or breaks. He is holding (molded into his clay hands) a pointy metal "sword." DIMENSIONS: 8.5" tall x 4" wide. *Original foil sticker on bottom.
