This is a lovely made in Japan matte ceramic bisque candle that, when used, it can be a beautiful little trinket box. The lid has two white doves with applied flowers and gold gilt details. The lid edges have a raised floral scallop design. Bottom has original Japan label. It's approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter and approximately 2 1/4 inches tall, including the lid. It's in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
